James Constable has signed his new contract for Oxford United.
The team's leading scorer, who picked up both the supporters' player of the year and the players' player of the year awards, had agreed a three-year deal with the U's earlier this month.
He has been on loan this season from League Two club Shrewsbury.
But doubts surrounded the deal going through when Shrewsbury manager Paul Simpson said he didn't know about it.
Constable said after United's final game of the season on Sunday that he just wanted everything sorted so he knew where he stood.
And after Shrewsbury confirmed their agreement to the transfer being completed, he has now signed up to become a permanent Oxford United player.
