National 3 South
Chinnor lost their slender grip on National League rugby after relegation rivals Lydney defeated third-placed Ealing 17-7.
The Oxon club’s only hope of survival was that Lydney collected less than two points from their final two matches, but their victory put paid to that.
Chinnor will play alongside Oxford Harlequins in National 3 South West, which South West 1 will be now called.
Henley Hawks will finish a disappointing ninth.
They ended with a 28-22 home defeat to Rosslyn Park on Thursday, which featured 17 points from young fly half Will Fulton and a try from Matt Payne.
