Abingdon Tn 1 (Morgan pen 90
Ardley Utd 2 (Beckett 81, Costello 84)
Abingdon Town manager Keith Stopps stepped down after three and a half years in charge, as his team was relegated from the Premier Division with a home defeat against Ardley on Saturday.
Abingdon needed to beat Ardley, and gave it their all against high-flying Ardley.
Town went close after six minutes, Adam Wells’s volley forcing a fine save from Ardley keeper Gareth Tucker.
But the score remained goalless at the break, and in the second half, Tom Larman fired an effort wide.
Ardley took the lead nine minutes from time when Darren Beckett pounced on a loose ball to hammer home.
Three minutes later, Jason Costello ran from the half-way line to make it 2-0.
Danny Morgan reduced the arrears from the penalty spot, but it was too little, too late.
Witney Utd 7 (Thompson 2, 29, Wickens 22, McMahon 28, Curtin 48, 49, Moss 77)
Shrivenham 2 (Carter 12, 85)
Witney United produced a stunning display on the final day with a crushing victory over Shrivenham.
The result saw Witney clinch third place and Ben Thompson claim the Premier Division Golden Boot award for the season.
Thompson opened the scoring from close range, before Ben Carter equalised for the visitors.
An acrobatic left-foot volley by Gary Wickens restored Witney’s lead, before John McMahon and Thompson made it 4-1 at the break.
The goals continued to flow after the break, Ryan Curtin netting twice in four minutes as Witney threatened to run up a cricket score.
The seventh goal came from Dean Moss, before Shrivenham netted a late consolation through Carter.
Hook Norton 1 (Robinson 55)
Hungerford Tn 1 (Cant 72)
Hook Norton could not deny Hungerford the title, despite holding them to a draw in their final game of the season.
After a goalless first half, Hook Norton took the lead ten minutes after the break as Ali Robinson let fly from 20 yards into the far corner of the net.
The visitors hit back and levelled matters when John Cant scored in the right corner from the edge of the box.
