There will be trophies galore to be won at Oxford Stadium on Saturday when they host the Marie Curie Cancer Fund charity night.
It is hoped that upwards of £3,000 will be raised from the event, through race sponsorships, raffles and collections.
This is the first time that they have organised a Marie Curie event.
General manager Maureen Ridley is hopeful that the event will raise a lot of money for such a worthwhile cause.
She said: “The Marie Curie charity is particularly prominent at the moment, so we thought it would be the perfect time to hold an event.”
In addition, £20 from each of the 12 sponsored races on the night will also be donated.
The event has proved popular so far, with healthy bookings in the restaurant and executive suites.
The Paddy Curtin-trained Soviet Maldini will take his place in the Blue Square Derby next month.
Curtin was pleased with Maldini's trial last week where he came from the back to win in 27.80.
But the other local hopeful Hillcross Orion will not take up the challenge as trainer Angie Kibble reckons he won't get the 480 metre trip.
Richard Yeates is aiming Alfie Sparra, Penn Razzle and Lazerus at the £100,000 to the winner event, but decided that Trafalgar Cup winner Fredom Emma takes in the Peterborough Derby instead.
