Tom Smith took a hat-trick in his 5-16 as Horspath 2nd overcame Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd by 71 runs in the first round of the Oxford Times Cherwell League Junior Cup Earlier, Horspath had reached 178-5 thanks to James Whittenbury's 32 and an unbeaten 36 by Dave Heritage.
Oxford 3rd thrashed Princes Risborough 2nd by ten wickets in the day's most one-sided encounter.
Dipyan Das took 3-10 as Risborough were bundled out for just 60, then Mark Sheehan smashed 50 not out as victory was achieved in just 9.3 overs.
The only century of the day came from Buckingham Town 2nd's Robin Pritchard, who hit 101 in their 208-9 at home to Cropredy 2nd.
The visitors were restricted to 166-9 in reply, despite Richard Clapp's 50.
Andy Darby top-scored with 60 to help Great & Little Tew 2nd to an impressive 224 at home to Banbury 3rd, who were all for 169 in reply.
Great Brickhill 2nd amassed the day's highest score, closing on 301-5 at home to Long Marston 2nd. Stuart Cooper (50) set them on the way before Paul Little (49) and Matt Boad (85no) added 111 for the fifth wicket.
Tom Sibley then took 6-28 as Marston fell to 112 all out.
Challow & Childrey 2nd had a walkover against Banbury Twenty 2nd, as did Abingdon Vale 2nd over Hanborough 2nd and Brackley 2nd over Morris Motors Exiles 2nd.
