A penalty brace from Jack King lifted Didcot Town’s Division 1 South & West play-off bid with this victory.
The win puts them three points ahead of Thatcham, whom they play tomorrow.
Didcot went ahead when King slotted home his first penalty after Philip John was brought down.
John later saw his free-kick crash back of the bar.
After the break, Michael Watkins made a good save from Chris Fermie.
Andy Williams saw his header hacked off the line.
King doubled Didcot’s lead with his second spot-kick after substitute Michael Bartley was pulled back by Dean Harper, King firing in the resultant spot-kick.
Although Slough’s Ryan Fenton fired over from 25 yards in stoppage time, Didcot secured their fourth clean-sheet in the last six matches.
