Abingdon United were given a harsh lesson finishing by the play-off chasers at Northcourt Road.
Early on, Stuart Swift hit the bar from 30 yards, before Craig O’Connor blazed over.
For Abingdon, Billy Beechers fired over before O’Connor gave Beaconsfield took the lead from close range.
After the break, a cross-shot from Ben Weedon beat Beaconsfield keeper Nick Hart, only to bounce onto the bar and away.
But three goals in seven torrid minutes killed Abingdon’s challenge off.
O’Connor sidefooted his second, before Oliver Godwin fired in No 3 after Abingdon failed to clear, and O’Connor completed his hat-trick.
