Chris Allen scored the second-half equaliser as North Leigh ended their home campaign with a 1-1 draw.
The visitors made a dream start after just two minutes when Shaun Anthony's corner fell to defender Owen Irish who drilled home from four yards out.
Play then became scrappy with chances at a premium.
Within a minute of the restart, Taunton keeper Lloyd Irish produced an outstanding save to deny Andrew Heby’s long-range effort.
Leon Simpson blazed over the bar for Taunton, before Allen’s scuffed shot went wide.
Minutes later, Allen levelled after running from the halfway line before beating the advancing keeper.
Ben Reardon twice went close, before Allen volleyed just wide.
North Leigh: Farrow, Sadler (Butler 84), Futcher, Hole, Huxley, Dodds, Collins, Helby, Hope (Burnley 60), Reardon, Allen. Subs not used: Weedon, White.
