Oxfordshire duo Shelley White and Jaz Venning helped England B1 to beat Scotland B1 11-6 and win the ladies’ B team title at the EBA Blackball World Masters pool tournament in Bridlington.
England B1 lost only one match to top the group and reach the last four where they triumphed against Scotland B2 11-8.
Meanwhile, Oxon pair Stephanie Meidinger and Nicola Hoskins were part of the England B2 team that missed out on the semi-finals.
Oxford players Malcolm Lewis and Kevin McIlroy (England) lost to Ireland in the final of the men’s over 40 event.
