Oxfordshire golfers can take advantage of a new membership offer to play next year’s Ryder Cup course at Celtic Manor.
The Welsh venue has launched a ‘country membership’ scheme for its Twenty Ten course to cater for those living outside a 75-mile radius.
For a £2,000 joining fee and £2,000 annual fees, country members will enjoy full playing privileges on the Twenty Ten Course, the first purpose-built Ryder Cup course.
They will also receive a season ticket to the big match between Europe and America in 2010 as well as the opportunity to buy another one, with both including hospitality places in a members’ pavilion.
Membership includes playing Celtic Manor’s other two courses, plus use of its health club.
Having played it last week, I can assure you the Twenty Ten course, which has water on half its holes, is one serious, but enthralling test.
For more information, visit www.celtic-manor.com or call the membership team on 01633 410300.
