Vale of White Horse Under 13s recorded a brace of wins at the ESFA Durham Festival.
They opened up with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over South Northumberland, with Sam Earl scoring ten minutes from time.
Joe Wilkinson, Ally Brady and Connor Powell were then on target as Vale ran out 3-0 winners over Darlington.
Vale found Sunderland too strong in their next game, going down 2-0.
But they bounced back to end the festival with a 2-2 draw against East Durham, with Earl and Powell netting.
l ST Michael’s School(Marston) became the first winners of the Tony Bradbury Cup at Oxford City FC.
They came out on top from St Barnabas School in the six-a-side competition staged in liaison with the Thame and Oxford School Sports Partnership in memory of one of Oxford City’s all-time great players.
The cup was presented by Mrs Sally Bradbury Tony Bradbury played for the youth team before he later became a regular in City’s first team where he remained for seven years.
In the 1965-66 campaign he equalled the club record with nine goals against Woodstock Town in the Senior Cup.
