OXFORD United manager Chris Wilder believes the club's fantastic fans can make all the difference in today's crunch with Woking, writes JON MURRAY.
Around 2,000 U's supporters are expected to make the short trip to Kingfield in Surrey after Saturday's sensational win over Wrexham kept their play-off dream alive.
“I'm made up for the supporters because they go to Woking with a purpose,” said Wilder, his face beaming, after the tense victory.
“If this result had not gone for us they would still have all gone there, and backed us to the hilt as they always do, but really knowing our season's over. And it ain't – and we're alive.
“There's a big prize out there.
“Woking will be a tight side as well, but I'm sure they won't have the support that we take on Monday.
“The fans can make the difference. If they can make that effort, driving players forward, then don't under-estimate the part they'll play.
“We're going to have to really dig deep and push ourselves for another game. I'd like to say on Monday night, that we're still alive again.”
