Three weightlifters from the St Birinus School club at Didcot flew the flag for England in style with victory in an international team event in Barcelona, Spain.
The trio of Eddie Chambers, Robert Green and Josh Cox all set personal bests to come out on top from the hosts Catalonia, with France third.
Chambers was the second best lifter at the event with a snatch of 67kg and a clean and jerk of 83kg for a total of 150kg in his class – which beat his previous personal best by 10kg.
Green posted a snatch of 71kg and a clean and jerk of 90kg for a total of 161kg, which beat his previous best by 5kg.
And Cox recorded a snatch of 63kg and a clean and jerk of 84kg for a total of 147kg, beating his personal best by 6kg.
They will be looking for further success at the British Junior Championships on Saturday, April 25.
