Oxford UCCE produced a promising batting display on the second and final day of their game against Warwickshire in the Parks.
In reply to Warwicks’ 141-6 dec, they made 253 with useful contributions coming from Matt Watson (49) and Ed Young (46).
When the visitors batted again, Oxford had reduced them to 114-6 at the close, including the wickets of Darren Maddy and Tim Ambrose.
Next up for the students is a three-day game against Worcestershire in The Parks, starting on Easter Saturday.
Scores: Warwicks 414-6 dec (A Frost 112, R Clarke 101, K Barker 70no) & 114-6, Oxford UCCE 253 (M Watson 49, E Young 46). Warwicks won by 161 runs on first innings.
