Joe Bull scored the winner as Stonesfield boosted their fight against relegation with a shock 2-1 win against Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division title-chasers Garsington.

Alex Fosaranti gave Garsington the lead, only for Stonesfield to level through Pete Searle’s 15-yard effort.

Then Bull cracked home the winner from 18 yards.

Garsington should have equalised, but Aaron Armstron’s penalty, awarded for a trip on Liam O’Callaghan, hit an upright.

A Joss Hall header and a Tom Hall strike saw Eynsham to a 2-1 win against Kennington.

Sean Flannery hit a hat-trick as Garsington Res hammered Charlton 5-2 in Division 1.

Rocky Whiting (penalty) and Adam Reynolds got their others, while Chris Stoker (2) netted for Charlton.

In Division 2, Oxford University Press Res’s relegation fears worsened following a 2-1 defeat by Broughton & North Newington Res.

Alex Hale and sub Gareth Davies gave Broughton a two-goal cushion.

Although Paul McNulty replied from the spot it wasn’t enough as Broughton held on.

Slade Farm moved a step nearer winning the title with a 2-1 win at relegation-haunted Horspath Res.

Paul Cooper gave Horspath a shock lead, only for Rob Alexander to level and Dave Barrie to get a late winner.

Craig Robinson and Ally Jarvis were on target for Broughton & North Newington Res as they beat Stonesfield Res 2-1 in Division 3.

Stonesfield had opened the scoring through Steve Smith after a mistake from keeper Martin Gibbs, but Broughton hit back for victory.

Goals from Toby Daly and Keiron Johnson earned Marston Res a 2-1 victory against Bardwell Res.

Adderbury Park Res beat Oakley Res 1-0, thanks to a goal from Tim Bullard.
