HEADINGTON Athletic triumphed 2-0 over Wycombe Wanderers in the Thames Valley Counties League Cup semi-final.
On a very narrow pitch at St Georges Sports Field, Fulmer, near Slough, Headington spurned several chances before top scorer Lisa Freeman fired them into a first-half lead.
Headington sealed victory after the break when Nicola Ace latched on to a through ball before slotting home from just outside the area.
Now Headington face Woodley Saints in the final at Reading Town on Sunday, April 19 (4pm).
Brize Norton won 1-0 at Newbury Res in Division 3.
Starting with only ten players, Brize defended well, before Claire Johnson went on a fine solo run into the box and finished superbly.
Brize keeper Jenny McDowell who made an excellent save to preserve their lead.
