Oxford City 1 (Gunn 28)
Stourbridge 1 (Broadhurst 26)
Oxford City’s outside hopes of making the Premier Division play-offs suffered a further blow as they were held at home by Stourbridge.
Mark Lambert fired in a decent early effort, but keeper Lewis Solly save.
The firm ground wasn’t helping a passing game as ball control was difficult.
With 26 minutes gone it was the visitors who broke the deadlock when their top scorer Leon Broadhurst turned to score with a well-struck shot from the edge of the area.
Two minutes later City levelled. Solly was unable to hold James Clarke's fierce shot, and when the ball came back to him off a defender he picked it up and an indirect free-kick was awarded for handling a back pass.
Bell's free-kick rebounded off the wall to Andy Gunn, who touched home a deserved equaliser.
Craig Faulconbridge, Mark Bell and Declen Benjamin all had efforts for City, but neither side really looked like taking victory.
