Bracknell Tn 0
North Leigh 1 (Hope pen 47)
Liam Hope’s penalty early in the second half saw North Leigh continue their impressive recent form in British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West with victory at relegation candidates Bracknell Town.
North Leigh were awarded the spot-kick after Ben Reardon's rising shot struck a Bracknell defender's arm, and Hope sent keeper Max Aneke the wrong way.
Andy McCabe should have doubled the lead, but shot wide and then Aneke was at full stretch to save from Reardon.
Bracknell's best chance came from a stoppage-time corner, but Chris Geary's header rebounded off the bar and McCabe blocked the follow-up.
In the first half, a crucial Karl Dodds interception denied Nathan Jack after he had rounded North Leigh keeper Lee Farrow.
