Jimmy Deabill hit a hat-trick in the first 19 minutes as Kidlington avenged their midweek Floodlit Cup semi-final defeat by Marlow United in the Premier Division.

Deabill opened the scoring in the third minute, powering home a header from Marvin Martin’s left-wing cross.

Six minutes later, he hit a curling 20-yard shot into the corner of the net.

He completed his hat-trick in the 19th minute, sending keeper Carl Murray the wrong way from the penalty spot after he had been brought down.

Deabill went off with a knock early in the second half, and his replacement, Danny Wise, sealed victory with a superb fourth goal.

Abingdon Tn 2 (Simms 42, Fowler 45)

Two goals just before half-time set Abingdon Town on the way to victory over Bicester Town in their relegation battle at Culham Road.

Abingdon broke the stalemate in the 42nd minute when Paul Alder launched a free-kick from his own half and Drew Fowler headed on for Mark Simms to shoot past Tom McNamara.

Three minutes later, Abingdon doubled their lead as Fowler raced on to Ben Green’s through ball, flicked it over the onrushing McNamara, before outpacing a covering defender to head home.

Dan Ames’s shot beat Abingdon keeper Gareth Walker at his near post a minute from time, but the hosts held on.

Shrivenham 1 (B Gill pen 19)

Witney Utd 4 (J Mills 31, Thompson 51, 68, Lewis 82)

Ben Thompson scored twice to help keep Witney United’s outside title hopes alive with victory at Shrivenham.

Despite dominating the early stages, Witney fell behind when Bradley Gill sent Richard Barrett the wrong way from the penalty spot after he had been brought down by Lee Henderson.

Witney equalised when Jon-Paul Mills played a one-two with Thompson before curling his shot beyond Luke Alford.

Thompson fired the visitors ahead early into the second half, and he made it 3-1 by tapping home the loose ball after Mills’s low cross was palmed out by Alford Shrivenham then had Alex Rigley sent off for lashing out at Mills, before Andrew Younie pulled the ball back for Kevin Lewis to finish with aplomb.

Hook Norton 2 (Davies 23, Johnson pen 60)

Harrow Hill 3 (Green 10, Burford 12, Buckland 40)

Hook Norton crashed to defeat against basement boys Harrow Hill.

Scott Green fired the visitors into an early lead, and two minutes later Tom Burford made it 2-0 after Hook Norton failed to clear a corner.

Joe Davies pulled a goal back with a superb free-kick, but Harrow Hill restored their two-goal cushion before the break when Hook Norton keeper John Okole’s clearance went straight to Shaun Bucklan, who lobbed the keeper.

In the second half after Joe Coleman’s shot struck a defender, and referee Gary Connolly awarded a spot-kick – even though the ball ended up in the net.

Ricky Johnson scored from the spot, but it wasn’t enough.
