Oxford Brookes Eagles Under 18s clinched top spot in the South 1 Conference with a high-tempo 98-63 victory at Essex side Baddow Eagles.
They have to turn up for this weekend's last match at Cambridge to finish top, but they can’t relax with the play-offs just a week away.
With Lukas Aleksandravicius combining well with David Hyde, and Mike Bird making great steals, Brookes led 46-31.
Despite a negative spell at the start of the third quarter, Oxford made it 73-52.
With home players fouling out, Brookes took the final quarter by 25-11.
