British triple jumper Larry Achike paid a visit to Kidlington’s Gosford Hill School on an around Britain tour.
The ‘Team Superschools Challenge’ was set up by Darren Campbell and Todd Bennet to raise funds for athletes who are training for the Olympics 2012.
Their challenge is to visit 2012 schools before the London Games.
Bennet and Achike take a Union Jack into every school they visit and ask a student to write the name of their school on it.
Bethany Hawtin, from year seven, was the lucky student to add Gosford Hill’s name to the flag (pictured right).
Afterwards, the students performed nine sponsored challenges including sit-ups, star jumps, squat thrusts and press-ups.
