Chipping Norton’s Alice Powell produced excellent performances during two official test sessions for the 2009 Formula Renault UK pre-season at Oulton Park .
Powell came ninth and 12th overall respectively in the two sessions.
The 16-year-old, the youngest driver in Formula Renault UK, lapped with a best time of 1m 19.262 secs (101.10mph) in the afternoon.
On combined times for the two sessions, Powell was the fourth fastest of the drivers eligible for the Graduate Cup.
The final official test will take place at Silverstone next Tuesday and Wednesday.
