Traditional enemies Oxford and Cambridge University unite for the first time in 16 years this weekend with a tour to Japan.
The Oxbridge squad, captained by Oxford’s Varsity Match-winning skipper Peter Clarke (pictured), flies out today to help celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Yokohama Port and Keio University.
They face an All Kanto Gakuin side on Sunday and then Keio University the following Saturday, with both matches at Mitusazwa Stadium in Yokohama.
Their first opponents will comprise professional players and include current internationals such as Oxford Blue and Japanese captain Taku Muichi.
Players will wear navy blue and light blue hoops with white shorts.

Oxford University ended their season with a 24-24 draw away to Trinity College, Dublin.
The Dark Blues scored tries through Will Browne (2), Tom Tombleson and Ross Swanson, with Swanson kicking two conversions.
