Oxford Harlequins are now one win away from guaranteeing a place in next season’s renamed National 3 divisions.

Restructuring for 2009-10 means only the two teams with the lowest points totals from South West 1, London 1, Midlands 1 and North 1 will go down.

Darlington and Bedford Athletic occupy these positions, and can each achieve a maximum points total of ten – which Quins already have.

Banbury reached the Oxon Colts Cup final with a 28-6 victory over Bicester.

Centres Jed Boyle (2) and Jamie Heywood plus flanker Jason Warren scored their tries, with fly half Joe Mills converting all four.

Bicester fly half Sam Butler slotted two penalties in reply.

Banbury will meet Oxford Academy in the final after they beat Witney 30-19.
