Saxton Rovers took another step towards the North Berks League Division 1 title with a 2-0 win at Wootton & Dry Sandford.

After a goalless first half, Saxton took the lead when Ben Parry fastened on a poor clearance.

Danny Ferguson made it 2-0 for the unbeaten leaders when his long-range shot was deflected home.

Second-placed Blewbury lost more ground following a 3-0 home defeat against Lam-bourn Sports.
