Ashley Woodward’s try double helped Banbury Bulls to a 24-0 victory at Aylestone St James in Midlands 3 East South.

Bulls faced a stiff breeze, but finished well with Woodward showing pace and strength to score twice.

Banbury produced some nice touches in the second half, but lost their shape far too often.

Captain Simon Brand carried two defenders over the line for try No 3, which Darren De Bruyn converted.

Brand off-loaded for centre Dave Taylor to crash over with 15 minutes to go and De Bruyn converted.

Woodward had a third try disallowed.
