Clanfield put another dent in Oxford City Nomads Division 1 West promotion challenge with this win at Court Place Farm.

After a goalless first half, Nomads went in front when substitute Lance Shaw curled the ball round keeper Chris Brain.

But Clanfield were soon level, midfielder Karl Dickenson scoring with a superb header from a Stuart Hicks cross.

Nomads were awarded a penalty in the 75th minute, but Darren Quegan struck the spot-kick over the bar, and Clanfield clinched the points a minute from time when Adam Little set up Steve Williams for the winner.

Trowbridge Tn 3 (Meredith 5, Bakali 25, Barker 50)

Letcombe 1 (Claydon 85)

Letcombe's nightmare run continued at lowly Trowbridge.

Sam Meredith put the home side ahead after five minutes, and Waleed Bakali increased the lead with a header from a corner.

Richard Claydon had a great chance in the first minute of the second half, but Trowbridge keeper Tom Berryman deflected his shot around a post.

Dean Barker made the game safe for Trowbridge with No 3, before Claydon bagged a late consolation.

Headington snatched a deserved point thanks to a last-minute own goal at Winterbourne.

Ben Walker struck Winterbourne into the lead just after the break, but Headington’s Aftab Hafiz score his cross deflected home by a defender in stoppage time.

Launton Sports 4 (Price 20, 51, 72, Keeble 40)

Kintbury Rangers 3 (Thorpe 4, pen 82, Angell 53)

Launton moved off the bottom of Division 1 East for the first time this season in a seven-goal thriller.

The visitors went in front when Shaun Thorpe headed home, but Launton pulled level when Gareth Price netted.

James Keeble put the home side in front just before the break, and six minutes into the second half, Price made it 3-1.

Curtis Angel reduced the arrears, only for Price to complete his treble to restore Launton’s two-goal lead.

A dubious penalty eight minutes from time saw Thorpe slot home, but Launton held on for victory.
