Jimmy Phillips was the star of the show with 3-15 as Banbury thrashed Sandford St Martin by six wickets in Division 1 of the Banbury Indoor League.

Sandford were shot out for just 60, with Phillips taking 3-15 and Liam Manley 2-19.

In reply, Craig Haupt hit an unbeaten 25 as Banbury cruised in.

Great Tew A beat their own first team by two wickets.

Having restricted their clubmates to 72-4, Matty Taylor taking 2-16, the A team reached 73-4, despite Jack Taylor taking 3-31.

Charlbury thumped Banbury Twenty by six wickets.

Ashley Rump took 2-13 in Twenty’s 63 all out, before Ian Widdows (25no) and Glenn McCallum (15no) saw Charlbury to victory.

Banbury A beat Preston Capes by 21 runs.

They posted 95-6, then Ian Adams took 3-39 as Preston were dismissed for 74.
