Oxford United’s community team are helping out the community – by offering reduced prices for their popular soccer courses over the Easter holidays.
Instead of the normal £40, the four-day courses can be booked for just £30, and there are courses all over Oxfordshire.
“We realise that a lot of people are struggling with cash in these difficult times, so we’ve introduced this special one-off Easter price, giving children the same sport, and the same length but for a tenner less,” said United’s community officer, Peter Rhoades-Brown.
Courses will take place at Carterton, Witney, Oxford Community School, Bicester, Chalgrove, Chinnor and Abingdon.
There is also a one-day specialised goalkeeping course on Friday, April 17.
United’s community team have been busy opening up two more after-school clubs in the county, with one at Witney Community Primary School (pictured) and one at Edith Moorhouse School in Carterton.
This takes the number of their after-school soccer course clubs in Oxfordshire to more than 30.
