Chinnor's shock victory over Ealing may have given them a double boost in avoiding relegation.

Not only did the win lift them out of the National 3 South drop zone, but it also gave them a better chance of winning their final game.

Chinnor host London Scottish in their final match on April 18, by which time their oppponents should be champions.

Saturday's defeat of second-placed Ealing means they can now reach a maximum of 104 points.

Should Scottish maintain their 100 per cent record until April 11, they will have at least 106 and therefore be champions.

This may just make the big-spending Londoners an easier prospect for Chinnor, but there is plenty of rugby to be played before then!
