Henley Hawks director of rugby Jason Forster was a far happier man after they beat Havant 42-19 in National 3 South for their first win of the 2009.
Forster said: “It was pleasing to get a win under our belt and we enjoyed some good passages of play in the right areas.
“Our kicking was much improved. Our line-out play in attack and defence was better.
“It was good to get some of our injured players back, but our discipline still needs to be much improved.”
Bicester 2nd will play in the BB&O Premier A division next season after securing the Division 1 North title after a 35-26 victory against Bletchley.
Wallingford 2nd, meanwhile, are closing in on the BB&O Premier A title.
Their 24-14 victory at Redingensians 2nd sees them five points clear at the top with four games to play.
In the same league, Oxford Harlequins 2nd became the first team to win at third-placed Amersham & Chiltern 2nd since September 2007 with a 35-8 success.
Littlemore have been deducted four points for fielding an unregistered player in BB&O Division 1 South.
But the error, which they have admitted, may not cost the club promotion to the Premier Division.
Gosford All Blacks, meanwhile, say they are determined to play as many second team games as possible despite withdrawing from Division 1 North.
