All Saints C of E School, Didcot, saw their Wembley dreams dashed in the south west area final of the ESFA Girls’ seven-a-side competition.
The Oxfordshire champions bowed out after finishing a creditable third in their group at Cadbury Frys, Keynsham, Bristol.
They opened up with a goalless draw against Archbishop Benson (Cornwall), before going down 1-0 to St Michael’s (Dorset).
A 1-1 draw against eventual winners Bluecote (Gloucestershire) followed after Amy Leach fired All Saints ahead.
And the Didcot girls finished off in style with a 2-0 win over Westbury Leigh (Wiltshire), with Jordan Mitchell and Jessica Wilmshurst on target.
Bluecote now go on to the national final at Wembley on Saturday, June 13 before England Under 18s’ international against France.
