Bicester A caused quite a stir by knocking out defending champions Forum A in the quarter-finals of the Aubrey Hug-hes Handicap Shield competition.
Forum were without their captain, Karl Bushell, and paid the price.
In a match where there was no handicap difference, Jeff Rigby led the way for Bicester as they won by 19 points.
Bicester B joined their clubmates in the semi-finals by beating Gladiators A by a single point.
Peter Hargreaves, David Badham and Steve Laird for Bicester were awarded an 80-point start, and the nerves were jangling when the doubles finally arrived.
They needed to get 14 points in the second leg to tie and somehow made it 21-15.
Vikings A beat Forum F by 24 points to reach the last four.
Forum F, with a 165-point start, pushed their Division 1 opponents hard, but Eamonn Deeley, James Lovelock and Julian Lawton Smith, for Vikings, were just too strong.
Begbroke A bagged the last spot, beating Forum E by 29.
In the semi-final draw, Begbroke A have a 100-point start at home to Bicester A, while Bicester B get 140 at Vikings.
British Rail had mixed fortunes in Division 1.
First they lost 8-2 to a St James side led by Andy Misseldine. John Barclay won the two for BR.
However, they were back to winning ways as they beat Vikings A 8-2.
