Oxford City’s juniors wrapped up three team triumphs out of four age groups after the final round of the Oxford Mail Cross Country League at Clanfield.

The under 13 girls’ team of Beth Hawtin, Imogen van Zyl, Elissa Clarke and Mya Walker secured the first team title of the day, with the under 13 boys team of Josh Tack, Matthieu Marshall, George Henry, Finn Koodal, Sebastian Evans and Owen Huxley following suit.

There was more title success for City’s combined under 15/17 girls, with Lauren Hawtin, Imogen Kempton, Jade Walker, Rebecca Byren, Ellie Clarke-Jacques, Lizzie Berg and Kathryn Munday all contributing towards the winning points total.

In the individual competitions, there were gold medals for Nat Jones (under 11 boys), Beth Hawtin (under 13 girls), Lauren Hawtin (under 15 girls) and Harry Robertson (under 15 boys).

Radley’s Sam Miller took the under 20 men’s title ahead of Abingdon’s Alex Hamilton, while Radley collected a 1-2-3 of medals in the under 17 girls’ category.

Jennifer Sutherland won the division with 30 points, just one clear of Gemma Bridge, with Moira Thresher third on 35.

In the under 11 age group, another victory from Radley’s Megan Humphreys secured her the girls’ title.
