White Horse Harrier Paul Jegou boosted his chances of winning the Wessex League senior men's title with a third-place finish at Ham Hill near Yeovil in Somerset.
Jegou, who recorded a time of 35mins 50secs over the undulating course, takes a three- point advantage into the final race at Ringwood, Dorset in three weeks’ time.
- HEADINGTON Roadrunner Chris Dettmar took the men’s open title at the Goring 10K.
Dettmar clocked 33mins 48secs to take first prize.
Stephen Hands won the vet 40 race, clocking 37.07.
