Banbury United boss Kieran Sullivan is looking for another performance like Saturday’s as they travel to Bedford Town in the BGB Southern League Premier Division on Tuesday night.
Although the Puritans lost 1-0 at leaders Farnborough on Saturday, Sullivan was pleased with the commitment of his team.
He said: “We weren’t quite brave enough, but I thought in terms of our general play, we matched Farnborough throughout.”
Nathan Haisley returns for an otherwise unchanged squad.
Oxford City are thin on the ground ahead of their trip to Tiverton.
They will be without suspended trio Andy Gunn, Andy Ballard and Michael Lyon, while Steve Davis could miss the game due to work commitments. Jamie Brooks (knee) is still out.
Boss Justin Merritt said: “We’re a bit short on players, so it will be a case of those who can play making sure that they take their chance.”
In Division 1 South & West, Didcot Town host Thatcham Town. Simeon Howell is the only absentee as he serves a one-match ban.
