With every team member contributing at least one win, and Becky Foster an unbeaten four from four, Oxfordshire 2nd beat Herts 3rd 10-5.
This reinforced their mid-table position in Division 3B of the Inter-county championships with one match to go.
Oxon split the four singles, with Kathryn Schutterlin and Becky Foster successful. They took five of the eight doubles, but some were scrambled.
A brace each went to Nicola Patrick with Foster and the second men’s pairing of Joe Griffiths with Phil Sayer.
Leading 7-5 going into the three mixed, Paul Casey and Patrick came through 21-12, 21-15, then Martin Graham with Foster 21-18, 14-21, 21-19.
Finally, James Barclay and Claire Tait completed the mixed annihilation with a 21-16, 15-21, 21-18 display.
For 30 years, Oxfordshire has hosted an open junior tournament, but rarely has there been a home winner.
This year, Oxon’s Jack Smith dominated the under 15 events by winning the singles 25-18 over Warwickshire’s Sam Parsons and also the mixed doubles 26-24 with Devon partner Alice Seeney.
David Richardson also shone in the singles, losing 26-24 to Parsons in the semi-final.
At under 13 level, fourth-seeded Ben Isaacs duly reached the semi-final.
In the under 10 doubles, two host teams won groups, with Yiran Ji and Daniel Chen bettering Alex Cook and Jonny Torjussen before losing in the next round.
