Chinnor have two players in the England Under 20 squad to face Ireland in the RBS Six Nations at Dubarry Park tomorrow night (6.15).
Hooker Arthur Ellis comes in on the bench for his debut, where he will be joined by prop Bob Baker, who started against Italy and Wales.
The 19-year-old pair, who are both part of the London Wasps Academy, have starred for Chinnor in National 3 South, and are now helping put the Thame-based club on the map.
Chinnor coach Jason Bowers said: “It is a great credit to to the club and helps raise our profile.
“It is brilliant to have them them here, and we wish them every success in their career.
“Their experience of Premiership rugby really accelerates their learning.
“When they play at National 3, you can see they are so far advanced in their skill levels.”
While Baker has come through the ranks at Chinnor, Ellis joined on loan this season after the club impressed Wasps Academy manager Rob Smith.
“He knew that we had looked after Bob very well over the years,” said Bowers.
Baker has impressed coach Mark Mapletoft with his two starts so far, but Gloucester’s Shaun Knight has been preferred at tight head.
Mapletoft said: "Bob Baker's done extremely well for us at tight-head this season, but Shaun Knight's also done well when he's come on in both games so far.
“We know we need a number of good props to be competitive at the Junior World Championship so it's a good opportunity to have a further look at him."
Of Chinnor’s latest England call-up, Bowers added: “Art-hur is a fantastic talent.
“The boy has everything that the modern rugby player needs. He is mobile, and has got a really good skills level.
“He can kick, pass, run and catch with the best of them. He really is a complete player.
“We are glad to have had his services this season because he gives us a whole new dimension to the front row.
“It is like having a back row player with the strength and power of a front row.”
Chinnor’s Wasps connection continued with 17-year-old back-row forward Sam Jones making his debut as a replacement against Canterbury last Saturday.
Jones, who is still at school, represented England Under 16 last year, and could have big role to play for the rest of Chinnor’s season.
