Hannah England has been selected to run the 1,500m for Britain at the European Indoor Championships in Turin next month.
The 21-year-old Oxford City athlete got the nod for her first major championship after achieving the qualifying mark with a personal best of 4.09.90 at the Aviva Grand Prix in Birmingham on Saturday.
England said: “I am very excited about competing in Turin.”
“My aim in Turin will be to reach the final and once I am there anything can happen. I am sure that it will be a great experience.”
