Kieran Sullivan has warned his players against complacency when Banbury United visit Hellenic League side Hook Norton in the quarter-finals of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup on Tuesday (7.15).
On Saturday, Banbury made it two victories in a row in the Southern League Premier Division, but Sullivan says Hooky, who boast four ex-Banbury players in their line-up, will be a difficult game.
“Chris Jackson, Ben Milner, Daniel Szczukiewicz and Craig Pearman all played for us and they will want to prove a point – it’s going to be a tough game,” he said.
Banbury winger Jon Gardner is back from holiday, but they will be without Richard Groves, who is playing for Oxford United, and injured duo Lewis Travers (hamstring) and Mark Essex (knee).
Nathan Haisley and Scott Bridges are unavailable.
North Leigh will be looking for a Middlesex double when they travel to Uxbridge in Southern League Division 1 South & West.
It follows Saturday’s 4-0 win at AFC Hayes, who tonight travel to Loop Meadow Stadium to take on Didcot Town.
