Oxford Harlequins were hammered 60-5 at Bracknell in South West 1, with sloppy tackling and poor decision-making not helping their cause.
Two penalties from centre Ben Nowak put Bracknell 6-0 up, but Quins hit back with a classy try on 18 minutes.
The ball was recycled up the field, then two long passes found scrum half Anthony Cope on the right.
He sold two dummies from 40 metres out to scamper over in the corner.
Bracknell wing Stewart Mackay and No 8 Nico Maybury bagged their first two tries, with Nowak converting the latter.
Quins centres Shaun Lombard and Tim Lawson went close on several occasions, but then a try from Nick Shears put Bracknell 25-5 up at the break.
Good runs from wings Nick Sevier and Ollie Campbell almost brought tries for Quins, but Bracknell turned the screw with Jason Borchards, Oliver Jones (2), Nico Maybury and Jervis Manupenu all going over, Nowak converting each one.
Quins Ben Nicholl gave a strong display at No 8, but this was a day for them to forget.
