Gosford All Blacks fell to a 54-10 home defeat against Broadmoor Staff in the BB&O Premier Division.
New Zealander Dan Thiele had a fine game at centre, but Broadmoor were mobile, strong and effective.
Broadmoor opened up with a try from full back Ben Yates, which fly half Shaun Franklin converted.
Thiele’s fine solo try and Tim Ellis’s conversion gave Gosford momentary parity.
But two tries and a conversion from the impressive Franklin gave Broadmoor the edge.
Ellis’s penalty made it 19-10, but Dan Harvey, Dave Abbott and Gareth Lewis crossed before the break with Franklin converting all three.
Gosford defended better after half-time, but still conceded tries to Shaun Evans and Franklin, who converted both.
Wheatley conceded their seventh walkover of a hapless season when they could not raise a side to make the short trip to Oxford.
