Bishops Cleeve 2 (Vercasi 53, Mansell 70)
Didcot Tn 2 (Osbourne-Ricketts 42, 44)
Didcot Town’s Division 1 South & West play-off hopes suffered a knock after they threw away a two goal to draw with Bishops Cleeve.
Stuart Peace’s side strolled into a 2-0 lead with a quick-fire double from Elliott Osbourne-Ricketts, only for Bishops Cleeve to level.
After Jack King had a volley blocked, before Adam Mayo and Ben Gascoyne missed two easy chances Didcot went ahead when Osbourne-Ricketts swivelled in mid-air to thump a volley into the corner of the net from 15 yards.
Two minutes later, Osbourne-Ricketts scored his secon with a clinical finish past Sam Gilder.
After the break, James Vercesi clawed one back.
Phillip John went close, before King fired over.
And Didcot were made to pay, when Mansell headed past Watkins.
Osbourne-Ricketts should have completed his hat-trick, but fired wide of an empty net.
Both sides could have won it near the end. Gascoyne’s snap-shot was superbly held by Watkins. Late on, Gilder pulled-off a magnificent diving stop to deny John.
