AFC Hayes 0
North Leigh 4 (Allen 11, McCabe 22, 58, Hope 90)
A brace from Andy McCabe helped North Leigh end their ten game win-less run with a convincing victory at AFC Hayes.
After early home pressure, North Leigh took the lead when Joe Burnell’s cross was met by Allen who's rising shot flew high into the far corner.
Stuart Hole almost doubled their lead as his low shot rebounded off the far post, but minutes later McCabe lashed in Hope’s cross from close range.
Hayes keeper James Harry denied Allen and Hole.
Burnell should have added to the lead, but fired over from ten yards.
After the break, Harry denied Allen and Hole with fine saves, but No 3 arrived when Hope set up McCabe, who swivelled before firing a low shot under Harry into the far corner from a narrow angle.
North Leigh keeper, Lee Farrow twice made brave saves from Dean Clark.
Hope rounded off a fine victory in stoppage time as he ran onto Dan Sadler's through ball and slotted under Harry to secure a league double over the home side.
