Abingdon Town parade new signing Mark Simms when they host Chalfont Wasps on Saturday.

The Premier Division strugglers have been able to sign Simms from Southern League side North Leigh after three local firms put up the money to pay his wages.

Abingdon assistant boss Anthony Burden said: “It’s an amazing signing.

“Signing Mark will give us a good chance of staying in the division.”

Louis George and Drew Fowler are suspended, but defender Luke Beauchamp is back after injury.

Children get in free when accompanied by an adult to the game.

Resurgent Bicester Town look to make it three on the spin when they travel to Oxfordshire rivals Hook Norton.

Hooky welcome back Ricky Johnson and Craig Pearman from suspension, though Lee Harris is banned.

Kidlington are without Mark Baker (knee) and James Philpott (ankle) when they travel to Harrow Hill. Nick Bayliss is doubtful.

Meanwhile, Witney United have signed former Notts County midfielder Jason Bowler from Marlow United.

Bowler is a former England Youth international, who was also played for Ilkeston Town, Stamford, Belper Town and Wisbech Town.Witney are without a game.

Carterton will be at full strength when they host Wantage Town.

In Division 1 West, Clanfield will be without defender Olly Oswin, who serves a one-match suspension for their home game against Headington Amateurs.

Kieran Davies (work) is also out, so player-managers Pete Osborne and Jason Court are added to the squad, while Headington are unchanged.
