Chinnor must find some consistency if they are to avoid relegation from National 3 South, starting at home to Canterbury tomorrow (3).
The Thame-based side are only three points off safety, but nearest rivals Lydney have a game in hand.
Chinnor coach Jason Bowers said: “We have got to start winning more than we are losing, and we have identified this game as one to do that.
“We are full of confidence going into the match and we got a good draw at their place.”
Fly half James Cathcart returns to the squad for the first time since dislocating a shoulder in October.
Hooker Arthur Elis is back in place of Alan Cawston (work commitments).
Prop Bob Baker has been given a week’s rest by England Under 20 after impressing in their defeat of Wales.
Tomorrow’s match looks Chinnor’s best chance of victory for the next three weeks with a trip to Dings Crusaders and a home game with Ealing to follow.
Chinnor’s fate, however, may be determined by a March run that sees them face Henley Hawks, Havant and Lydney in three successive weeks.
Successive defeats at Worthing and Rosslyn Park have not helped their cause, especially as they conceded more than 40 points each time.
“We have not been able to gain momentum,” said Bowers.
“It was frustrating to have the Richmond game called off after losing at Worthing.
“We have also had two long trips, and Rosslyn Park are one of the best sides in the league.
“It just shows that we have got to be a little more focussed than we have been.”
Henley Hawks welcome Dings Crusaders for their Dry Leas debut, desperate to record a win for the first time since December 13.
Hawks are without Neil Baggett (severe bruising) and Tom Haynes (concussion) following injuries at Canterbury.
Wing Pete Davies is still absent on school duty, but Angelop Flammia should make his long-awaited return.
Lock Steve Green is an injury doubt, so Nick Tuckett, who has been on loan to Henley Wanderers, comes in.
Wing Ollie Campbell and centre Neil Spottiswoode face fitness tests ahead of Oxford Harlequins’ trip to Bracknell in South West 1 as both have hamstring problems.
Andy Noyce, Kenny Sewell and Angus McDowell are added to the squad.
Wallingford visit Swanage & Wareham in South West 2 East with Gavin Hull and Nick Windsor starting on the wings, and Pete Strang at fly half.
No 8 Ian Jeffrey, plus backs Jackson Sayce and Henry Pooler remain unavailable.
Having conceded a walkover to Cheltenham due to a mix-up over their pitch, Wallingford have now seen Swanage take over from them in fourth.
Coach Chris Norrington said: “We’ve got to forget about last week. The bigger picture is that we’ve still got fourth place to play for.
“We just want to get back playing. It has been a stuttering start to the year and a bit frustrating.”
Danny Godfrey replaces Matt Brocklebank in the front row as the only change to Witney’s squad for their Southern Counties North clash at home to Milton Keynes.
Bicester will be looking to continue their improved form under new coaches Chris Nash (backs) and Simon Grater (forwards) when they host Grove at Oxford Road.
Both are former Bicester players.
