Newly-formed Alchester will play their first ‘home’ game when they take on Oxford at the Southern Bypass ground on Saturday, February 28 (2.30).
Although they are essentially a Bicester club, from next season their home ground will be Marston Ferry Road thanks to a deal with Oxford Harlequins.
Alchester, who are largely comprised of former Bicester colts, have been playing friendlies this season.
But they hope to enter the Berks, Bucks & Oxon league structure for the 2009-10 campaign.
Club secretary Keith Nash said: “To prepare for running home fixtures we will be issuing programmes, inviting sponsors, Oxon RFU and all who have helped to form this brand new rugby club.”
