Faringdon Town scraped past Long Wittenham Athletic 2-1 in the North Berks Cup quarter-final.
All the goals came in the first half with Derren Harrington blasting Faringdon into a second-minute lead.
Tim Barton equalised for Long Wittenham, but Robbie Harrington nipped in front of stand-in keeper Andy Burton to head Faringdon’s winner.
In the North Berks Charity Shield quarter-finals, Saxton Rovers eased through with a 3-0 win over Crowmarsh Gifford.
Steve Pitson, Paul Churchouse and Chris Hooper did the damage.
Saxton will now meet Drayton, who beat Didcot Casuals 1-0, with the only goal coming in the first half through Kevin Giddings.
Stanford in the Vale claimed a big scalp in the War Memorial Cup with a 3-1 win at Division 2 side Warborough & Shillingford.
Two goals from Jason Evans, taking his season’s total to 33, and one from Danny Pugh did the trick. Ross Tabor replied.
In the AG Kingham Cup quarter-finals, Shrivenham A eased past Blewbury Res 2-0, with both goals coming from James Cornfield.
Harwell International gained their first win of the season in Division 1 with a 2-1 victory at Wootton and Dry Sandford.
Tom Baptie and Mike Yardley netted for Harwell, before John Srawley pulled one back.
In Division 2, a nasty head injury to Grove Rangers’ Chris Medlock marred the match against with Faring-don Town Res. He suffered damage to his skull and needed several stitches.
Faringdon ran out 4-1 winners, thanks to goals from Lee Ruddle (2), Matt Hickson and Matthew Pill, with David Scott netting for Grove.
Coleshill United have moved into second place after their 4-2 win at East Hendred.
Steve Cuddon got both Hendred goals, but strikes from Ian Fawkes (2), Sean Lewis and Gary Ashford were enough for Coleshill.
The only game in Division 4 saw an Ian Abbot brace help Benson Res to a 2-0 win against East Hendred Res.
In Division 5, Stanford in the Vale Res saw off Challow Res 6-3.
Max Kelly (2), Jamie Gregory, Richard Eltham, Gregorz Krawczyk and Tim Eltham netted for Stanford, with Wayne Gregory, Andy Caven and Kevin Pryde replying.
