Banbury Utd 0
Evesham Utd 6 (Robinson 26,42,53, Slack 60, Scheppel 67, Lennon 70 pen)
Banbury United were plunged back into the Premier Division relegation zone as they were hit for six by Evesham.
There were signs of things to come in the 15th minute when Joe Clarke fired a 25-yard effort against a post, before Anthony Robinson put Evesham in front, shooting on the turn into the net.
Clarke brought a fine save from Banbury keeper Andy Wheeler, but the second goal came just before the break when Robinson side-footed home from a corner.
The second half saw Evesham increase their lead when Robinson’s powerful shot hit the bar and flew into the net.
Kevin Slack made it 4-0 after good play from Danny Lennon.
By now, Banbury looked overwhelmed, and the fifth goal came when Robinson and Slack sent Danny Scheppel away and the midfielder crashed home.
Three minutes later, Lennon was upended in the box and picked himself up to score from the resulting penalty.
Late in the game, Robinson could have scored a seventh, but headed over.
Banbury Utd: Wheeler, Kelly (Peppiatt 85), Essex, Bennett, Stringfellow, Travers, Redknap (Abbassi 71), Forinton, Stanbridge (Haisley 46), Groves, Gordon.
Attendance: 264.
