Charlbury started off their Banbury Indoor League Division 1 campaign with a three-run victory over Great & Little Tew.
Charlbury rattled up an impressive 136-4 from their ten overs, Ian Widdows top-scoring with 41 not out.
Then former Charlbury players Rob Garrett (26no) and Tom Geeson-Brown (22no) got Tew close, but they finished short on 133-4.
Banbury eased to a four-wicket win over Preston Capes.
Liam Manley (2-10) and Jimmy Phillips (2-20) combined as Preston were restricted to 64 all out, before youngster Lloyd Sabin hit 24 not out as Banbury eased to 69-2.
Sandford St Martin rattled up a formidable 144-2 against Great & Little Tew A, and it proved more than enough as they won by 76 runs, while Banbury A defeated local rivals Banbury Twenty by 21 runs.
